Established in 1889, the historic town of Windermere has maintained that unique small-town feel that visitors and locals alike find so endearing. Home to approximately 2,000 residents, Windermere is virtually encircled by the Butler chain of lakes, considered one of Florida's most sought after areas of lakefront property. Surrounding land, once rich with citrus groves, is now dotted with lush estate homes for many of the Orlando areas most rich and famous. Overlooking Lake Butler is the renowned Isleworth community that counts among its residents many international sport and entertainment celebrities.
